Learners/Audience: Algebra 1 students and educators.

Overview: This instructional video demonstrates how to graph a linear equation in point-slope form.

Challenge: Algebra 1 students need to be able to graph various functions. Linear functions can be written in different forms which can make the approach to graphing more difficult.

Solution: I created an instructional video demonstrating clear steps to graphing a linear equation in point-slope form. I identified the unique features of a linear function of this form, and the information these features tell us. Students will have a clear example of how to graph a linear function of this form from start to finish.

Learners/Audience: New hires of Living Roots Wine & Co.

Overview: This video was created for Living Roots Wine & Co. as a welcome video to their new hire training I developed.

Challenge: I needed to create an animated video that engaged the learners and clearly defined the learning objectives of a new hire training.

Solution: I created clear, crisp audio through Audacity, created graphics in Canva, and created a visual story to pair with the audio through Camtasia.  This fun, engaging video was a great way to get the learners excited for the content to come in the training.

Learners/Audience: Instructional Designers, Learning and Development Specialists.

Overview: This infographic was developed to help Instructional Designers create learning materials that are relevant and purposeful to the adult audience.

Challenge: I started me Instructional Design journey as a former secondary mathematics teacher. I have extensive education on learners at the secondary level, however had to learn how adult learners were different and unique. Through my instructional design education I gained this exact knowledge and wanted to share with others!

Solution: I created this colorful infographic to breakdown the characteristics of adult learners.

Learners/Audience: Employees of Living Roots Wine & Co.

Overview: This infographic was developed for Living Roots Wine & Co. to help new hires gain knowledge on the winemaking process in South Australia (SA).

Challenge: Many of the employees of Living Roots serve guests the wine from SA, however don't have the background on how it came to be. Guests of Living Roots often ask questions about the wine, and it is important for servers to be able to answer their questions.

Solution: I create this infographic to break down the process of creating wine in SA. There are descriptions and graphics for each step of the winemaking process to supports servers in learning about the winemaking process at Living Roots.

Tools Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Desmos

Learners/Audience: Math educators and students at the middle school or high school level.

Overview: This interactive provides a visual to the four different types of slope. Through this project I learned how to incorporate JavaScript into Storyline to create advanced animations.

Challenge: Provide visuals to a math concept in an engaging manner.

Solution: I learned to use JavaScript within Storyline to create advanced animations of the visuals. The learners are able to quickly identify the different types of slope through animated visuals.
